Description
Gilgamesh is one of the coolest boss characters from any game. You fight him in both FF5 and FF12.
In Final Fantasy 5 he challenges your party throughout the game. At the end of the game while fighting the final boss there's a secret to make him appear and help your party.
In Final Fantasy 12 he's an optional boss who fights with a wolf named Enkido (Enkido was sorta Gilgamesh's right hand man in the ancient epic). As he loses health he starts replacing the generic swords in his hands with those he's aqiured from enemies he's defeated. These just so happen to include The Buster Sword - cloud's from FF7, Orichalcum - Zidane's from FF9, Revolver Gunblade - Squal's from FF8, Tournesol - Tidus' from FF10, Zantetsuken - Odin's from FF7, and the Sword of Legend - Dragon Quest.
